monday and tuesday were good days. the kids went to school, more or less, in the usual manner. k is just talking and talking. she is also practicing autonomy and bossiness. r is curious and generally cooperative. we had a long awaited bath night on monday that was great fun. r was spelling "words" with his alphabet letters in the tub. k played boat with elmo and ernie. they mostly cooperated.
tuesday brought the great excitement of grandma sue and james visiting. we headed to dinner where the kids sat for 2 hours! wow and were generally really well behaved. ruskin and i had a nice time while the kids played and talked with sue and james.
k pronounced that james is silly. we all agree. i am gone wed-friday in albuquerque for a conference and will be blogging lightly until then. perhaps ruskin will report in about the kids.
it is beautiful in new mexico. the light is gorgeous on the mountains and the desert is stunning. i will miss the kids but am planning on having a fabulous time on my own.
