somehow everyone was exhausted last night. but ruskin slogged away on his work and then fell asleep so soundly that he heard nothing and, more importantly, no one. k had a tough night and was unsettled. everyone was up in the morning, eating cinnamon bread, and out the door to head to school and the acrobat teacher. r did obstacle courses, scootering, and tricycling. he did his best to be a "sneaky" kid. he is very funny, in that he works the therapists, constantly trying to negotiate and get his way. but his way, is often, just a test to see what he can do. it is funny to watch when you are not the target! dad gave him a pine cone on the way to school and R was very excited.
ruskin picked everyone up and we headed to chanhassen to visit the weather station with the MIT alum group. k had no patience for the presentations. and the presentations were rather odd as they were not geared to a science-friendly audience but seemed a little random. k and i spent some nice time outside running around and playing in the grass and rocks. it is starting to look like a beautiful fall. we watched a weather ballon launch that was fun. after that we headed home to eat dinner and do some drawing.
k was tired and fell asleep right away. r was up a little later. ruskin has not emerged yet. saturday sounds nice. sunday might be ok for the marathon. one day until the weekend...
