we are going to jump back in time a little...
K's first foray into camps after leaving the center is at a really cool art/technology/inventing camp. she went to their youngest intro camp for 4-6 year olds who are interested in boats (she is her father's daughter). and each morning she went off to learn about and build boats. here are her creations from end to beginning:
1) aircraft
2) first half of a periscope
3) submarine
4) propellor boat
5) sail boat
it is nice to see her building and constructing like some other people in our family. she does not do so much of that at home because others dominate. this was a terrific experience for her and she is so proud of all of her projects!
